Grief is a journey, at some point in life everyone goes on this journey. Though the journey itself may be different, we all get to travel it. How we travel it depends on many factors; how significant was the loss? Did the loss involve a close relative or a lover? Perhaps a pet, or a close friend. Whatever the loss you now find yourself on this journey and you feel lost, maybe even a little scared. That’s alright, I’ve been there, and I would consider it an honor to assist you on this journey.

Grief is one of the most difficult tasks we will ever take on in this life.  Grief brings many challenges into our lives. These challenges are only second to the grief of dealing with the stress that seems to come with it. We begin to question our purpose, our mortality seems fragile. We need to realize that there is hope. Once we realize this, we have taken the first step and at times the most difficult step in our journey of healing.

You may find it difficult to manage your grief and dealing with the stress of everyday life may seem heightened during your grief journey.  Like an athlete needs a coach to help learn how to deal with all of the stress and challenges of their sport, sometimes those grieving need a coach as well.

Sometimes we feel that life’s stress that seems to have attached itself to our grief is what is holding us together. We cannot just sit and feel relaxed. Learning relaxation techniques can teach you to make changes in your life and to do something totally foreign; Relax.

If you have lost a loved one and you find it hard to cope and the stress feels overwhelming, and your abnormal responses to life events leaves you with the feeling that you are going crazy.  The first thing you need to know is that you are not going crazy. You are having a normal response to grief. You just need some guidance for your journey through grief.

The Phoenix Method can help you feel as though you have a new system for life, you will see hope as you begin healing in your grief and dealing with life’s challenges.

Soon You will find yourself abandoning old habits of dealing with pain and stress.
